On 8000 acres, the Second Bend Labs is an elite training facility for Special Operations and Elite units that encomapsses land, air and water facilities. The ranges, designed by civil engineers to meet DoD specifications, were developed in collaboration with partners to support their pre-deployment requirements. Additonally there is a human performance center, air and drone operations, a 100 acre/10ft deep lake for water ops and accomodation for 45+ people overnight. Second Bend Labs is ready for immediate use, with infrastructure in place to host DoD, OGAs, law enforcement, and industry pilots and demonstrations.

Dynamic Range Complex
Purpose built range complex engineered to DoD specifications and developed with tactical experts to replicate real world mission environments. Configurable lanes and target systems scale from precision zeroing to complex multi-axis engagements.
● Three 25 m ranges with pneumatic targets for moving engagements, rapid pistol carbine transitions, and coached speed, accuracy, and decision making
● Multi Level CONEX Shooting Tower for long range engagement, observation, sniper qualification, elevated fire control, and instructor oversight
● 550 m KD and UKD range with precision steel targets
● One 25 m pull handle range for high tempo drills, modular steel, and rapid scenario shifts
● Multipurpose steel bays for transitional pistol carbine lanes with quick swap arrays, caliber flexibility, and immediate visual feedback
● Free fall and static line drop zones, including a 100-acre water drop zone

UAS & Airborne Ops
Advanced UAS testing and training on austere terrain, enabled by FAA and DoD COA approved airspace within Moody’s MOA across 8,000 private acres, with authorized operations up to 5,000 ft AGL to support JTAC and ISR coordination, overwatch, and aerial platform integration.
Integrated Test, Development and Repair operation provides onsite autonomous system integration and live telemetry capture for R and D and industry partners, with a dedicated workroom (warp room) to make real-time field adjustments to UAS platforms.
