The Institute for Defense and Government Advancement’s (IDGA) Counter-UAS Summit was held on August 15-16th, 2023 in Alexandria, Virginia. This event came at a crucial time, when the United States Department of Defense (DoD) had requested at least $668 million for counter-drone Reserach and Development (R&D) and at least $78 million for procurement in fiscal year 2023. The IDGA Counter-UAS Summit brought together senior decision-makers from across the military services to discuss key challenges, requirements, and procurement programs.
Counter-UAS expert speakers include representatives from the DoD, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), industry, and more.
